11 Years of Acme Farms + Kitchen

It’s wild to think it has only been eleven years since I packed my very first Acme Box in an old church in the small farming town of Acme, WA. In all honesty, it feels like 25 years ago.

When I started Acme Farms + Kitchen 11 years ago, I had no clue how to run a business, manage employees, or drive sales—but I was wickedly passionate about feeding my daughter good food, helping my farmer husband and other local producers sell more good food, and cleaning up our planet.

Thankfully, that has been enough to get me out of bed every day and face each new challenge that has built Acme into what it is today: supporting over 70 local producers each year and serving over 100+ cities and towns in the PNW.

We are incredibly grateful for all our customers, employees, and our producers. I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for sticking with us through thick and thin. Some of you have been with us these entire 11 years! When I process orders every Thursday, I get a warm and fuzzy feeling when I see your names.

This coming year, I hope to bring more fun into your home. Food is a powerful thing and there is so much heavy stuff in our world, but if Acme can help you enjoy a delicious local meal (or dessert) with friends and family, maybe the heavy stuff will feel just a little more manageable.
