Andrew's often brings some of his family recipes with a new twist with a modern flare, As well as some new creative fun meals. Acme makes cooking so easy and fun! It is such a delight to get these boxes and I love the minimal environmentally friendly packaging. Some of my favorite boxes have been their pasta with broccoli + pecorino sauce, spring pasta salad with asparagus and shiitakes, and their vegetable pho. Tacos al Pastor is a Mexican street food favorite, comprised of richly-marinated pork and pineapple cooked on a vertical spit similar to Middle Eastern kebab, then shaved onto hot tortillas. Since most of us don't have a vertical spit in our kitchens, we tailored this recipe to the home oven but still retained the smoky, sweet, and spicy flavors of authentic al Pastor.

We are signed up for weekly vegan boxes and have loved our first two Acme boxes. I’ve been recommending it to so many people! The meals were delicious, and easy to prepare. We especially loved the tofu banh mi sandwiches and kung pao cauliflower. Having meal boxes delivered every week has made our lives go much better- less mental energy expended to plan meals, delicious new meals to add to our repertoire, and helping my husband feel confident with cooking. When I found Acme I was so excited that it was all those things plus a small local business, organic and PNW farmers! I have really enjoyed the meal kits and market items from Acme Farms and Kitchens! The recipes have been delicious and flavorful! The ingredients are fresh and varied. I really appreciate that I can order one meal or a curated box without a subscription. The recipes and ingredients have been far better than some of the big box meal kits companies and their packaging even “greener” than other options I’ve tried. The meal kits and marketplace items include some of products I used to have to drive North of Seattle to get so having stuff delivered is amazing! The portions are great and I can’t say enough (again) about how flavorful and fun the recipes are. I’m definitely not a meal kit expert, but I don’t anticipate trying any other services because we’ve had such a good experiences with Acme.
