Introducing the Acme January Reset

We are so excited to introduce our easiest, most effective New Year’s reset ever: the Acme January Reset Box! This year, we are done with those restrictive fad diets that make us feel worse before better and lose motivation after the first week. Research shows the more restrictive the diet, the more likely the weight loss is temporary. While restrictive styles of eating may work well for some as a whole, the Acme philosophy for eating and feeling like your best and healthiest self is:

  1. Eat reasonable portions at each meal.
  2. Limit sugar.
  3. No artificial crap or antibiotics in our food.
  4. If you’re going to eat meat, only pasture and humanely raised.
  5. We like to strive for at least two or more fruits or vegetables with each meal.

When our team started talking about how we wanted to kick off 2022 on a healthy note, we decided this year’s reset box had to meet a new set of guidelines in addition to the 5 rules above. We came up with the following 4 additional guidelines when developing our January Reset Box:

The reset cannot make us feel worse before we feel better.

For those of you who have tried and failed at Whole30, we get you. There is a better way to ditch your sugar addiction (or the sugar cravings brought on by the holidays) and it’s simple—pair fruit with protein! In our new reset, you’ll be getting 2-3 servings of fruit in our fruit smoothies, paired with high protein greek yogurt and whey protein. We tested it and felt great from day 1!

There are so many hard things in our lives, this reset cannot be hard to implement and complete.

We have learned from previous resets that the amount of cooking was quite overwhelming and 50% of people gave up after week 1. This year, our reset will have you eating nutrient dense meals throughout the day (five meals and snacks a day to be exact) and it only requires cooking two meals the entire week! Yes, you heard us correctly! Night one you’ll prepare a Sheet Pan Meal and Boil Some Eggs, Night 3 you’ll prepare Chicken, Brown Rice and steam some veggies. The rest of the meals require less than 5 minutes to prep and serve.

This reset (paired with drinking water and getting 10k steps in a day) had to make us feel physically better within 3 weeks.

In our testing of this reset, not only did all the participants finish, they lost between 8-13 pounds in 21 days, they felt way less bloated and had an incredible boost of energy. Absolute win in our book and a great way to start a New Year.

This reset cannot contain endless impossible restrictions and headache inducing do’s and don’t lists.

What is the point of this reset? When designing this reset, the goal was to fire up your metabolism, increase your energy, reduce water retention, and boost your immune system. You’ll be getting all the nutrients your body needs to thrive. In addition to eating 5 meals/snacks a day, you are challenged to stay hydrated and get 10k steps throughout the day.

How many servings are included in the box each week?
The box is designed to feed one person, 5 meals/snacks a day for 7 days. It’s the full deal, nothing outside of a little oil, salt + pepper needed.

How long is the full reset?
21 days. You’ll need to place an order each week before Wednesday at midnight. After the 21 day reset is over, you can easily transition on to our Mediterranean Diet Box and continue to see the health benefits of eating a truly balanced, nutrient dense diet with ease.

How much cooking will this require?
In week one you will be cooking twice. In the second and third week you will be cooking 3 times. The rest of the meals just require simple prep and are ready in under 5 minutes.

Can I customize the box?
Unfortunately not, these meals were carefully curated and designed to hit specific macronutrient goals.

Will I need any special kitchen tools/gadgets?
Yes, a blender to make smoothies.
