Our sourcing decisions aren’t just about what’s available—they’re about what’s best for our health, our planet, and our community.

Our Standards for Sourcing

We don’t cut corners when it comes to our food. We prioritize farmers who practice regenerative agriculture—farming in a way that heals the soil, increases biodiversity, and improves water cycles. We also look for organic standards and practices. Not everything has to be Certified Organic, but it does have to meet organic standards. Why? This leads to healthier animals, which means better-quality meat and a more ethical food system.

Factory farming is the opposite. It prioritizes efficiency and profit over animal welfare, leading to overcrowded conditions, poor health, and environmental damage. We refuse to be part of that system. Instead, we seek out small, local farmers who raise animals with care and respect.
