JUICING THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS AND BEYOND
Why is Juicing so Perfect for the Holidays?
As we head into the season of cookies, cocktails, and carb-heavy feasts, a juice cleanse is the ultimate reset. It’s not just about detoxing your body and giving your liver a break, but loading up on micronutrients, and staying energized (something we all need more of during the holiday season). It’s simple, satisfying, and leaves you feeling amazing. And you can do this juice cleanse every week! Whether you’re looking to reset after a weekend of indulgence or staying ahead of the holiday hustle, juicing is the tool you didn’t know you needed.
My Personal Juicing Journey: From 9 Cups of Veggies to a One-Day Juice Cleanse
This past summer, I set out on a personal mission to eat WAY more vegetables. My goal? Three cups of greens, three cups of sulfur-rich veggies, and three cups of colorful produce every single day. Let me tell you, that’s a LOT of chewing—and my digestive system had moments where it felt overwhelmed trying to keep up with my big plans.
That’s when I stumbled upon a series of videos raving about the benefits of celery juice for digestion and liver detox. Naturally, I thought, “Why not?” Bekah and I love testing out healthy food trends, and this one turned out to be surprisingly addictive—not to mention life-changing in terms of health benefits.
Celery Juice: The Game-Changer
I started simple, sticking to my 9 cups of veggies a day and adding about 2 cups of juiced celery. The results? Almost instant. Within days, I noticed a huge reduction in bloating and an energy boost that felt clean and steady. My digestion adjusted quickly, and for the first time, my stomach felt normal. Bonus: my stubborn stress belly (you know the one) started to disappear. Bekah had the exact same results too!
Over a few months of juicing and continuing our veggie obsession, Bekah and I combined, lost over 30 pounds testing this out for you. I want to note that this was not the overall goal for us. We were both interested in a product that could reduce inflammation, balance hormones, and give us more energy and overall wellness. The weight loss was a welcomed bonus. :)
Adding Variety and Experimenting
Once I got the hang of celery juice, I started to branch out, adding different fruits and veggies to the mix. I carefully tracked my recipes and their effects on my body, paying special attention to how they impacted my blood sugar levels. Turns out, juicing too many sweet ingredients like beets, carrots, and apples at once can spike your glucose—so I learned to balance flavors while keeping things in check. And at the end of the day, the juice still has to be delicious!
Then came the ultimate challenge: my first one-day juice cleanse. No solid food for a full day! I had read about the gut and cellular benefits and decided to give it a shot. Other than craving something crunchy by the end of the day, I found it surprisingly easy. The juices kept me full and satisfied, and by the next morning, I felt lighter, more energetic, and ready to tackle the week. Winning!
What do you think? Ready to start your own juicing journey?
Now that I’m a few months into this journey, I’m excited to share everything I’ve learned so you can start juicing, too. Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
1. Order our One Day Juice Cleanse
Enjoy 8-12 ounces of juice every two hours for a full day of water and juice only, or savor one juice each morning for six days to kickstart your day. Each juice is thoughtfully crafted to balance flavors and nutrients, ensuring a nourishing experience. Our One Day Juice Cleanse includes:
Lemon Juice – Hydrate, detox, and energize with vitamin C-packed lemon water.
Celery Juice – Reset your gut and boost hydration with this inflammation-fighting powerhouse.
Carrot Turmeric – A vibrant blend of carrots, turmeric, and citrus for immunity and skin health.
Beet Ginger – Promote heart health and detox with beets, ginger, and citrus.
Cucumber Apple – A light, sweet juice with cucumber, apple, and spinach for detox and hydration.
Mandarin Red Cabbage – Packed with antioxidants and vitamin C for immunity and gut health.
2. Get a Juicer if you don't have one
You can go all in with a high-end juicer like NamaJ2 for around $550, or start small like I did with the Breville Juicer for about $180. I LOVE my Breville—it’s easy to use, simple to clean, and the only downside is that it lives on my counter because I use it daily.
3. Get some Glass Jars
Invest in glass jars with airtight lids. I use a mix of 8, 16, and 32 oz jars. Glass is key for keeping your juice fresh and avoiding any funky chemicals from plastic. We are currently offering Glass Jars on our website for your convenience.
I hope you’ll give our One-Day Juice Cleanse a try. Let me know how it goes—I can’t wait to hear about your juicing adventures! :)
