LOCAL SHISHITO PEPPERS

3/4 lb Shishitos, 

While most shishitos - Japanese green peppers with a delightfully sweet and
grassy flavor - are mild, one in every 10 or so has a fiery bite, which lends a dose
of adventure every time they’re eaten. They are most commonly enjoyed alongside cold beers, simply blistered in some hot oil, tossed in salt or soy sauce, and served with a garlicky aioli for dipping.
