While nearly all cuisines in the world have their own versions of fried chicken, it could be argued that the one Korea has developed, known as yangnyeom-tondak, is the gold standard. Shatteringly crispy due to a thin, double-fry coating and enveloped in a sweet-spicy-tangy gochujang-based sauce, these two-bite chicken breast nuggets hit every note just about right. We serve ours over rice, with cooling sliced cucumber on the side.
