Inspired by the doner kebab, a street-food flatbread sandwich with roots in Turkey and the Middle East made with thinly-shaved strips of flavorfully-spiced beef or lamb, these bowls start with a base of light and flavorful rice + orzo pilaf topped with doner-seasoned beef meatballs, roasted red bell pepper and onion, shredded romaine lettuce, crisp dilled cucumber salad, and a creamy garlic sauce.
