One of the most well-known and beloved facets of Korean cuisine, bibimbap (which literally translates as “mixed rice”) is a dish with countless variations, but all involving a number of components like meat and vegetables arranged over steamed rice and served with a spicy-sweet gochujang chile sauce. Ours is topped with bulgogi-style beef, sauteed shiitake mushrooms, spinach, carrot, zucchini, and a fried egg.
