For this elevated iteration, we’re slathering fresh sliced sandwich bread, or try our new favorite bread (Water Tank Bakery’s Roasted Onion), with sweet fig jam and bracing Dijon mustard, then layering on Ferndale Farmstead’s creamy fontina and sharp reserve cheeses, then broiling everything to melty goodness and finishing with handfuls of lightly-dressed baby arugula.
