One of the most well-know and beloved facets of Korean cuisine, bibimbap (which literally translates as “mixed rice”) is a dish with countless variations, but all involving a number of components like meat and vegetables arranged over steamed rice and served with a spicy-sweet gochuJang chile sauce.. This streamlined weeknight version is topped with bulgogi-style ground beef, sauteed shiitake mushrooms, spinach, carrot, zucchini, and a fried egg.
