NEW! WATERLESS CHICKEN SOUP (CHINESE CHICKEN ESSENCE)

Serves 4,
About 45 Minute Meal,
Gluten Free, Dairy Free,

Relying entirely on the sweet and nutrient-rich liquid contained in vegetables and chicken to create incredibly tender meat and a concentrated, flavorful broth, this traditional Chinese preparation is one of the most hands-off ways we’ve found to create a warming, restorative weeknight meal. Chicken legs are slowly steamed over mixed vegetables, then served over jasmine rice with the vegetables and broth, drizzled with a simple sizzling scallion dipping sauce.

IN THE BOX:: Chicken Legs, Nappa Cabbage, Onion, Apple, Garlic, Ginger, Scallions, Jasmine Rice
PANTRY:: High Heat Oil (We Like Avocado), Soy Sauce or Tamari
OPTIONAL:: Red Pepper Flakes, Sesame Oil

Contains: Soy in Pantry

Our Standards For Every Meal Kit & Why It Matters
You deserve food that nourishes your body, not food that slowly wears it down. That’s why we are relentless in our sourcing standards:

✅ No pesticides like glyphosate, a known carcinogen.
✅ No artificial colors or additives, because food doesn’t need to be “prettier” at the cost of your health.
✅ No hormones or antibiotics, which are overused in industrial agriculture.
✅ No preservatives, because real food doesn’t need them.
✅ 97% seed oil free, and working toward 99% in 2025.

All our meal kits are local first and are produced with organic standards. Why don't we always say certified organic? Check out our blog post'Strict Organic Standards - Won't Always Say Organic' to learn more.
