A few steps above hot dogs in summer BBQ sophistication, there’s no arguing that juicy grilled bratwursts, tucked into fresh crusty rolls slathered in grainy mustard and topped with locally-fermented garlic + dill sauerkraut, are always a big hit. We serve ours with a crisp green salad dressed with a sweet and tangy fresh tomato vinaigrette, for a simple summer meal, best enjoyed outdoors.

CREAMY ONE-POT PASTA WITH LEMON + RICOTTA

Bright, creamy, and delicious, this simple pasta bowl comes together in little more time than it takes to cook the noodles. Artisan fresh gemelli pasta is tossed in a rich mixture of ricotta and pecorino cheeses, spiked with a generous dose of lemon zest and juice and lightened with peppery wilted arugula. For a heartier meal, add some sliced Italian sausage or shredded chicken.

Our Deconstructed Pot Stickers are consistently one of the most popular meals we offer, and we think we know why - it’s relatively quick, packed with veggies and protein, utilizes convenient pre-made stir fry and drizzle sauces, and tastes fantastic. And now, by swapping out the ground pork for crumbled extra firm tofu, we’ve made an equally-as-delicious plant-based version of our original “Magic Meal.”

HAWAIIAN-STYLE HULI HULI SALMON BOWLS

With hints of Japanese teriyaki but a distinctly Hawaiian tang, Huli Huli sauce is generally used to baste grilled chicken, but it makes a delicious glaze for wild Pacific salmon filets as well, served over steamed rice with broiled pineapple, crisp ribbons of cucumber and red cabbage, and the crunchy pop of toasted sesame seeds.

We had used other meal services in the past and never were that enthusiastic. I LOVE Acme. We have been using them every week for 3 months and yet to have a meal we didn’t really enjoy.

It has changed the way we eat. The portion sizes are generous, so I normally take leftovers for lunch the next day (and actually eat them). I have been the person who daily buys lunch for at least 15 years previously.

I will also add that the selections are ones that our daughter eats as well — so no more cooking something different for her.

I can honestly say that we’ve gone from ordering dinner 5-6 nights a week to eating at home because of Acme. It’s been a complete game changer that has saved us a lot of money and is delicious.
